Chicken curry

Ingredients :
Bone -in chicken - 1 kg ,
Onion - 5 (medium -  finely sliced ),
Ginger garlic paste - 3 tsp ,
Tomato- 4 ( finely chopped or pureed ),
Cinnamon -1,
Clove -4 ,
Green cardamom -4 ,
Turmeric pwd -1/2 tsp,
Coriander pwd -3 tbsp,
Cumin pwd -2 tbsp,
Red chilli pwd - 1 tsp ,
Garam masala -1 tsp ,
Coriander leaves -1 tbsp ( chopped ),
Salt to taste 
Ghee or oil 4 tbsp .
Method:
Heat oil or ghee in deep pan .As oil heats up add cinnamon ,cloves ,green cardamom . Saute for 1/2 minute and then add onions .Stir fry in high heat till golden brown .
 Add ginger garlic paste . Saute for 2 minutes .lower the heat and then add turmeric pwd ,red chilli pwd , coriander pwd ,cumin pwd with 2 tbsp of water .
Fry the masala till oil leaves side and then add the finely chopped tomatoes. Raise the heat till the sauce is well cooked and then add chicken pieces and salt .
Saute in high heat for 5 minutes .
Add 2 cups of water .Bring to boil ,cover and lower the heat .
Let the chicken cook for 20 minutes or till done .
Sprinkle garam masala and  garnish with coriander leaves .
Chicken curry is ready .
Enjoy  with hot rotis or plain rice .
