Chicken korma

Ingredients :
Chicken -bone -in -900 gms ,
Onion -1 ( big )- paste ,
Tomato -2 ( chopped and pureed),
Coriander pwd - 1 tsp,
Curd - 200 gms,( can use cream instead of curd ),
Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp,
Turmeric pwd -1/4 tsp ,
Cumin pwd - 1 and 1/2 tsp,
Black pepper -1/4 tsp,
Garam masala-1/4 tsp,
Cloves -4 ,
Big caradamom-4,
Red chilli pwd - 1 tsp ,
Almonds - 75 grams ( soaked in warm water for 1/2 hr than peeled and made into paste )
Few almonds flaked ( optional ),
Oil - 2 tsp,
Salt to taste .
Method :
Heat oil in a deep pan ,add cloves and cardamom and then add the onion paste .
Fry till the onion paste is slightly pink .
Add ginger garlic paste and chicken pieces .Stir fry for 4 minutes .
Add coriander pwd ,cumin pwd ,turmeric pwd ,red chilli pwd  pepper pwd, salt  and garam masala pwd .
Add little water so that the spices dont burn  .Stir allowing them to permeate thier flavours into the chicken .
Add the ground almonds ,tomato puree and cream or curd .
Cook and cover  until reduced to the consistency of thick sauce ( 20 minutes approx ).
Close gas and taste salt .
Enjoy with hot roti or naan!
