Paneer tikka masala

Ingredients for paneer marination :
Paneer or cottage cheese -200 gms ( cubed ),
Coriander pwd -1/2 tsp ,
Red chilli pwd -1/4 tsp 
Thick curd -1 tbsp,
Salt 1/4 tsp ,
Ginger 1 tsp ( grated and extract the juice ),
Oil 1 tsp .
Ingredients for gravy :
Tomato -3 medium size ( pureed ),
Green chilli -1,
Green bell pepper - half ( chopped into small pieces)- optional,
Cumin seeds  -1/2 tsp ,
Bay leaves -1 ,
Ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp ,
Coriander pwd - 1 tsp ,
Red chilli pwd -1/2 tsp ,
Turmeric pwd -1/4 tsp ,
Cornflour -1 tsp ( mix with 2 tbsp of water ),
Sugar -1/2 tsp ,
Garam masala -1/2 tsp ,
Oil -1 tbsp ,
Salt to taste ,
Coriander leaves -1 tbsp.
Method :
Marinate the paneer pieces and keep in the fridge for an hour .
Heat a kadhai and put 1 tsp of oil and fry the paneer pieces for a minutes tossing both the sides .
Take out and keep aside .
Puree tomatoes and green chilli in a blender .
Add 1 tbsp oil and put cumin seeds and bay leaves  in the pan  .As cumin brown  ups , add the ginger garlic paste ,coriander pwd ,red chilli pwd and turmeric pwd .Add few spoons of water so that spices dont burn .After a minute add the capsicum , tomato puree and sugar .
Cover and let the sauce cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low to medium heat.Add cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp of water .The sauce will thicken within few seconds .Let it cook for a minutes then add the paneer tikas , salt and garam masala.
Cover for 5 minutes and let it cook on low heat .
Close the gas .
Taste salt .
Sprinkle coriander leaves .
Enjoy with hot rotis or paratha !
