Khubani ka Meetha ( Apricot sweet )

Anshuman likes it and we had it for the first time and really liked it .Have it with cream or custard !
Ingredients :
Apricot or khubani -250 gms ,
Sugar -60 gms ,
Water 300 ml,
Cream or custard .
Method :
Wash and soak the apricot in water for 5 to 6 hours or overnight .
As the apricot is soaked it is easy to take out the nut inside . Break the nut with a hammer or heavy object  you will get a small nut ,smaller than  a almond .
Take a pan and put  apricot with the soaked  water .Put the lid on and simmer for 15 minutes .  The apricot  will become mushy  and then add sugar and nuts .With a masher or heavy spoon mash the pulp .
 Cook for 2 minutes .
You can add water if it is too thick.
Allow the mixture to cool .
Serve with cream or custard .
I have cooked it for the first time and i really liked it .
Enjoy  with custard or whipped cream !
