Ingredients :
Corn -150 gms ,
Water - 400 ml -2 cups ,
Salt -1/2 tsp ,
Sugar - 1/2 tsp,
You can use tinned or frozen corn .
Boil corn with the above ingredients.
Chicken Stock -2 cups -400 ml ,
Shredded chicken -2 tbsp,
Corn flour -3 tbsp ( Mix with half cup of water ),
Water - 2 cups ,
Egg white -1 ( wisked ) ,
Salt to taste ,
Sugar -1 tsp,
Vinegar - 1 tbsp .
Method :
Boil corn with 2 cups of water ,salt and sugar till tender . Approximate time in cooker is 20 minutes.
When tender , slightly crush the corn with a spoon or laddle .There will be very little stock ,keep it.
If you are using frozen or tinned corn , reduce the cooking time to 10 minutes add less sugar and salt .
Boil few pieces of chicken with 2 cups of water in the cooker for 5 minutes .
Shredd the chicken and discard the bones.
Take a pan and put the boiled corn with stock , chicken stock and 2 cups of water on heat .
Raise the heat .
Let it come to a boiling point .
Add sugar ,vinegar,salt and shredded chicken .
Lower the heat and add cornflour pwd mixed with water.
Stir as you pour the cornflour .
Raise the heat and let it boil for 1 minute .
As soup thickens , pour the egg white in a thin stream to the soup . Stir and close the gas .
Taste salt .
