Shahi Murg (chicken)

Ingredients-
Boneless chicken -500 gms (cut into 2 inch cubes),
mushroom-2 cups cut into half, or 200 gm
Onion -3  (ground to paste ),
Garlic paste -1 and ½ tsp,
Tomato puree-4 tbsp,
Curd-4 tbsp,
Cashew nuts -1/2 cup ground to paste.,
Red chili pwd-1 tsp,
Lemon  juice-1 tbsp,
Turmeric pwd-1/2,
Oil-3 tbsp,
Salt to taste.
Water- 1 cup or 175 ml -200ml


Method-




Mix cashew paste, curd, garlic paste ,tomato puree, salt and red chilli in a blender and keep aside.

Heat oil in kadhai or pan.Add the ground onion paste and fry till golden brown.

Then. add the cashew paste mixture and turmeric.

Cook on a medium heat for 5 0r 6 minutes.

Add the chicken pieces and mushroom and 1 cup water (175 -200 ml),

Cook over medium heat until chicken is tender and sauce is thickened(approximate time 20 -25 mints)

Then add lemon juice . 
..
Garnish with corriander leaves.
